Creative practitioner extraordinare Mr. Prasad Bidapa initiated the ‘REVIVE & THRIVE’ sustainable design project for our students across all our design disciplines. The Students were asked to research the importance of sustainability along with the overall impact locally and internationally with the use of certain materials.
The Student designers worked closely with their academic mentors for feedback and created truly exciting products that ranged from garments and accessories in Fashion Design through to furniture and lighting fixtures in the Interior Design disciples. They highlighted the “trash to treasure” ideation with their unique creations.
Mr. Bidapa was on campus to view the creations and to give feedback while encouraging the designers to continue in their creative “responsible design” journey while they move forward in the design industries.
