Diwali, the festival of light, symbolises the triumph of “Good over Evil” and underlines the consistent notion that there will always be a renewing dawn after the darkest night. We at the College of Fashion and Design highlight our multi-cultural multi-ethnic principles with celebrating and reveling in all that brings together our CFD Family.
The Students along with the Academic team, and staff came together to plan a truly exciting evening that perfectly showcased the celebratory sentiments of this festival. From the initial ideation stages through to rehearsals, song edits through to wardrobe and decor finalization, the entire team worked across disciplines to make the finale evening a wonderful success.
The exhilarating dance sequences were enthusiastically received by the gathered audience, and traditional “goodies” were a gastronomic favorite for all present. The evening culminated with the Students joining their friends and families, dancing to a musical mix of their favorites, the perfect cap to another successful CFD event.
